Safe Search International is working in partnership with a well-established family business group who are dedicated to the manufacture of garments for Security and Industrial Protection, Emergencies, Defence and Health.
We are working together to find a talented Business Development Manager based in Germany with a hunter mentality. We are looking for a dedicated hunter, for the Corporate Wear & Workwear division, this is an opportunity for a mature person that has a high drive to build a business segment. My client has been phenomenally successful with corporate fashion customers in the European markets over the past few years and needs to further accelerate their growth.
For this fantastic opportunity, you will be working with national and international accounts.
All sales are consultative. The client bases them on projects, so no catalogues of ready-made garments, but rather, a good, thorough understanding of what a company needs on all levels (users – management) and the capacity to capture and collect well the breadcrumbs of information, that will lead us to provide a solution perceived as outstanding from others. What they need is an influencer to seize the essence of our value proposal and lay it out for the customers, using design thinking or other techniques.
We are looking for a person with a good understanding of garments, or textiles, and the capacity to build that knowledge into constructing sales strategies. The product is important but only partial to the whole service package that we offer to the market. They talk about customer experiences, user experiences and customer cases rather than just transactional trading.
This job requires a lot of travel, excellent planning, and high-level organization. You will be required to be in the field, with the customers, talking to the people and connecting the dots on site. You must also be decisive, prioritize your tasks, and act. The manager wording in the job title means that you will be expected to be a natural leader of the sales project, taking ownership, managing resources available and running the show as our front woman or man in the market.
