Safe Search International is delighted to be working in partnership with the world’s leading PPE and Tooling company, we are assisting them in many projects in Europe. We are currently on the search for a PPE Product Manager based in Winnendan, Germany. The EMEA PPE team is responsible for all aspects of Product Development & Product Marketing for the client within the EMEA region. This role will support the product development of new PPE products as well as the life-cycle management of existing PPE products and drive growth through EMEA sales markets.

Area of responsibility and tasks:

• Landscaping and market profiling to understand end-user requirements, as well as product trends across Europe.
•  Defining the range, products, features & specifications required by the end-user.
• Identifying the European Norms (EN) and standards.
• Conduct research to convert user needs into product development.
• Managing product launches through the business.
• Price positioning across Europe as well as supervising and implementing local markets pricing and gross margins.
• Monitoring product performance.
• Working with product management and engineering teams to provide the right products for the right user.
• Working with the Brand & Communication team as well as the Sales & Marketing teams.
• Collaboration with relevant departments within the company.
• Briefing other colleagues in all areas of product function, features & performance.
• End-user and distribution visits to increase market & product knowledge.
• Attendance at events & conferences.
• Working with our marketing team & outside agencies to develop product information.

Professional and personal requirements:

• 2-3 years of PPE Product or commercial experience.
• Understanding European norms and standards.
• A basic understanding of the commercial financial structure.
• Clear communication, both verbal & written.
• Good presentation & organisational skills.
• The ability to multitask whilst hitting deadlines.
• A strong determination to achieve & to develop business.
• A good team spirit.
• Strong self-starter.
• Fluent in English & second European Language (Preferably German) would be beneficial.
• Willing to travel. Ability to use relevant software packages (Excel, Word, PowerPoint etc).
