Safe Search International is delighted to be working with Tencate Fabrics Europe, an industry-leading manufacturer of safety fabrics for protective clothing. We are currently on the search for a talented Salesperson for Sales and End-User Marketing Manager (Industrial Safety) based in South  Germany to strengthen their presence in the DACH region.TenCate Protective Fabrics protects people on the job from harmful effects of heat, flame and other related risks. The primary applications in which their products are used include structural firefighting, wildland fire fighting and many industrial areas such as chemical, petrochemical, electrical and molten processing. They develop and produce the most comprehensive ranges of proven, high-performance fabrics used in manufacturing protective clothing. TenCate Protective fabrics is active worldwide through sales offices in North America, South America, Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and Asia. TenCate Protective Fabrics USA is headquartered in Union City, Georgia, a suburb 20 minutes south of metropolitan Atlanta.

Area of responsibility and tasks:

The position of End User Marketing Manager is an additional resource to strengthen our client's efforts in the DACH region and is responsible for executing our end-user strategy within the German-speaking countries within the industrial segment. This requires knowledge of the end-users within the region, customers, market trends, the competition and product technologies.

• Develop awareness at the end-user level of the needs and benefits of TenCate products
• Work closely with sales, business development, R&D, and supply chain management to ensure end-user needs are being met
• Identify end-users and set up & maintain a database with end-user information
• Construct a strategy to communicate appropriately with End User groups and industrial laundries with a view to driving sales opportunities
• Guide end-user leads to TenCate customers for purchase of TenCate products and when possible advise Sales Managers of leads for customers
• Guide end users to wear trials when possible and work with Sales Managers to complete the process
• Foster relationships/partnerships with end-users and industrial laundries
• Foster relationships/partnerships with industry professionals
• Foster relationships with distributors and other suppliers that directly contact end-users
• Organize and host end-user PR events and seminars
• Attend gatherings of the targeted industry that will assist in building relationships and gaining exposure
• Provide input for marketing campaigns
• Support and when needed execute market introductions and marketing campaigns

Professional and personal requirements:

An enthusiastic and driven end-user market manager who will strengthen the DACH team:

• Bachelor's degree in business management or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years relevant sales experience in an internationally-oriented organization.
• Background within the PPE industry or Safety.
• Technical background.
• Self-starter with enterprise spirit.
• Native German and excellent English communications skills, both verbally and in writing.
• Possibility to travel 50% of the time.
